If you are looking for a black gel eyeliner that has a strong stay-all-day power and is truly the blackest of blacks and comes off smooth and silky but does not transfer onto your upper lids or rubs off on your lower eye (or your contacts), you HAVE to try Wet N Wild's gel eyeliner! And if you are paying more than $4 bucks for it, girl, you are paying way too much!
So! Who BUYS Wet N Wild anyway???? I remembered it as 99 cents a piece. The packaging is boring. The colors are PROBABLY not even pigmented. Whenever someone started talking about Wet N Wild make-up, I would lose focus and lose conversation.... Usually I would start thinking about what I want to eat instead... Until I tried this gel liner! It worked wonders for me. Before i used this, I use to use Loreal HIP gel eyeliner. Yeah, it was great, but it cost me $11 and I must admit, the staying power was not that fantastic.
When you buy the Wet N Wild gel liner, it does come with a brush. In my experience, the brush does not deliver the best of the product. Instead, I use ELF's concealer brush. The bristle on the ELF brush is a lot less harsh on your eyes, it is more flexible and a lot thinner so you are able to create the shape or wing that you desire. I use color #886, which is a dark black. The gel eyeliner comes in a pot and it has about .13 oz.
It really does stay on all day. I use it for my waterline as well and it does not transfer or lose color throughout the day. If you are still in search of a gel liner, do give this one a try.
